In March of 1997 Mauler started training with ECCW at the House of Pain in Langley British Columbia at one of their tryouts.  He was invited to stay after the class for aditional training due to his ability.  Mauler's luck had then run short and he had to return to the city of Prince George but in the fall of 1999 he met up with Billy Mason "Mr Superatarr" and resumed his training.  Mauler is mostly self taught in the arts of Pro-Wrestling.  During his travels he has honed his training working with such people as Phil Lafon, Michelle Starr, Steve Wilde, Dillion Powers, Kerry Brown, and many more incredable wrestlers.  He started his career in the Maniac Wrestling Alliance with a victory against Son of Sam and continues to wrestle all over Canada.
